Welcome to Niroke Persians, my name is Ann Dyte, I am married to Mick and we live in Rushden, Norhamptonshire.
My love of Persians came when
we bought our youngest daughter a Lilac self in 1990, I was besotted with
him but he was a woman hater and only had eyes for Mick, so in 1994 I
bought my first girl " Rosie" a naughty tortie point and so the
love affair began.
My first litters came along in 1995 and before long I was hit by the showing bug,
We have been totally committed to testing for PKD.
To start we used the wonderful facilities at The Animal Health Trust, Newmarket
to scan all of our adults, & now we have DNA tested them as an added precaution, so we can proudly say we are a PKD Negative Cattery.
Although we have an outdoor cattery with all mod cons, this is purely
for the boys, the girls and youngsters live in home with us.
All have supervised access to our enclosed garden, even the boys.
Over the years my love of Colourpoints has grown and especially for the
Tabby (Lynx) series and this is now my main objective, to produce Tabbypoints
with a sweet expression, good bone and most importantly a loving personality.
I am extremely selective where my babies go and they always leave our
home with a clean bill of health, fully innoculated, and registered
with the GCCF.
We are also looking to expand into solid Tabby Persians starting with our own girls,
Niroke Dance Withme 8e(3 IC's), & Champion Niroke Legacy 9
Biggest news of all is that in 2007 we aquired a new baby, a very special young lady called Freya.
In the photo's she is 5 months old, with still a lot of growing to do. Mick & I would like to thank Colin & Pamela
for entrusting us with one of their Riqitta Irish Setters she is an absolute darling & certainly keeping us both fit!!
Also in 2007 we upgraded the Cattery to provide an escape walkway & renewed all the interiors, A massive task but well worth all the effort.
Just a shame that Freya has wrecked the garden!!!!
